This gem recommends a max of 4.5mg / pound ideal weight, which is just under 900mg for me. I wish I'd read the article a week ago, before I started my regimen of 3000mg/day. Walt, would you please consider adding this or something like it to the Magnesium Archives Summary? Me and my bottom thank you.

I think that the 900/day would not be an appropriate therapeutic trial. In other words, the person would have to be lucky if they got results. That is why I recommend the larger dose. It can do no harm and will catch those who are not lucky. One rarely would have to keep up the larger dose for long.
