stretching workbook

Can you recommend a good book to help someone with a general, whole body, stretching workout. You know, easy to read, bold pictures, beginner to intermediate level. I'm looking for a resource for middle age and older patients. Thanks.

P.S.: Please note my email address change from the last time I posted a message.

Hello Scott.
A "whole-body stretching workout" that gives the most benefit is Hatha Yoga. Not only does it stretch you and really work your spine, but it also calms you because all yoga stresses steady lower-abdomin breathing. And its a GREAT activity before meditation.

There are many books on this subject and also many good video tapes, from beginner to expert.

Hi, Scott.

I am really happy to see you here on the BB.

Listen to Pete & Mike.

I DO have one other for you to consider since it can be done during every day activities and is extremely effective with very little expenditure of time. It is:

"Synergetics" by Taylor & Joanna Hay, published by Pocket Books Health (my first issue copy was published in 1990).

Which approach a person chooses will, of necessity, have to be based on the person. Perhaps a brief description to give to each person (of each approach) will help them decide which one is for them. As you know, all of them work IF the person keeps them up.

Love, Dad
