Dr. Stoll,
I am a 56 yr. old man, in good health , excepfor high blood pressure that I've had since I was 16. I'm on medication, and my blood pressure is good. I seem to get hemmorrages in my left eye about every month. They clear up then start again. I;ve spent over $200.00 in medicine. My eye Specialist said it means I have Arthritis or I'm going to get Arthritis.????????? Can stress cause this to happen? It looks awful and I hate to look people in the eye when my eye is blood red.I just had my two yr. checkup for glasses and my Doctor told me my eyes are healthy. Of course when I went to him my eye was clear. The next day I had the hemmorage. I also have Blepharitis in that eye, of which I clean with a Q-tip and baby shampoo every morning and night. I am getting so fraustrated because it keeps happening. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning Tony! I asked about that on 5/5 so my note is about 12 inches or so down on the string. The title is Red Eyeball: ruptured blood Vvessel or something else? I also found a very informative link about subconjuntival hemmorage (I think that is spelled wrong because I could not readily find it this morning) which is stored on my laptop that I will post this afternoon after work. I am going to go this weekend to a healthfood store and start the bioflavanoids that Dr. Walt suggests. It would make since though if I had a defiency that was just starting and you had a defiency that was ongoing--that you would have yours all the time while I have only had two so far. He said there is also a lot of information under bruising. Anita

Hi, Tony.
Listen to Anita.
Read the PDR about your medication carefully. If this is not one of the side effects, I would suggest serious wellness for a year or so to get your physiology back into a healthier level of homeostasis. See the glossary for any unfamiliar terms. Remember, this is only what you see out on the surface. The same thing is happening in every organ of your body WHERE YOU CANNOT SEE IT.
Also, while you are practicing wellness, you had better keep a close watch on your BP since, by the end of the year, you will probably have had to reduce your antihypertensive dosage.
Let us know how you do.
Walt
