Starting approximately 8 years ago my husband's eye infection was diagnosed by 2 local (Nashville) eye doctors. One says the infection affecting his cornea is caused by herpes simplex and the other says it is caused by herpes zoster. The treatment is eye drops: FML and Viroptic. He has had occasional flareups causing loss of vision because of scarring. Within the last few days it has gotten significantly worse. Because it is a weekend he can't see the doctor until the beginning of next week. I would like to find a doctor somewhere who is considered the best in dealing with corneal problems. Can you recommend a corneal specialist from any where in the country? What do you think of the Wilmer Institute at Johns Hopkins?

Dear Frances,
This is Herpes Simplex and conventional medicine has no solution to this NO MATTER HOW MANY CONVENTIONAL DOCS HE SEES OR HOW FAR HE GOES. In the beginning it could have been difficulrt to make the distinctive diagnosis. The persistant nature of his history has finally made the diagnosis for him. He would do much better learning how he can help himself.
Before I say more, this has now gone on long enough that the scarring may be permanent and a corneal transplant may be necessary to restore perfect vision AFTER THE INFECTION IS GONE.
The only thing that will give him a chance to resolve this is for him to use the ummune system that GOD gave him. This is FAR more powerful than any known treatment.
The first thing for him to do is learn about "wellness" and start getting his immune system revved up. The quickest, least expensive, & easiest way to get started would be with a copy of my book--it includes a protocol for wellness but the book works as a unit & he should read it all (link on this page). The research on AIDS has produced a plethora of information about how anyone can improve the immune system and the libraries & bookstores are full of books about that.
He can be doing wellness while he is learning the rest since he will need both to resolve this.
Let me know if I can help you more.
Walt
