Hi Dr. Stoll
I have heard that Glucosamine is not good for people with Glaucoma? Is this true.
I have high pressures, will not admit to Glaucoma tho'...(yet) Am also avoiding the dreaded Beta Blockers....
Having taken Glucosamine for years, (mild DDD) should I now stop taking it ?
Thank you.
Wendy G
(Anyone else have similar condition(s) ? )please share....

I don't like taking anything constantly unless I really need to, then I will accept any problems, but I look for something that fixes a problem. Had a lot of luck with cod liver oil, glucosamine and MSM for joint pains. Needing to take them again after 2 1/2 yrs.

Hi, Wendy.
I have not heard of any relationship between glucosamine and glaucoma except that they both begin with a "g".
Consider "cold pressed castor oil drops" in the eye for glaucoma for a perfectly safe and inexpensive remedy (a la Edgar Cayce).
Let us know what this does for your pressures.
