Hi all.
In Oct. I was diagnosed with a central retinal vein occlusion in my right eye, which has taken most of my sight away. The occlusion is gone but the swelling is not. I still have alot of fluid in there, but my docs don't know why. I've seen a dozen docs to determined what has caused this. The only thing they can come up with is that my cholesterol is a little on the high side (genetics). I am only 36 years old. So, My doc has put me on a cholesterol lowering med and I am recieving injections every 5 weeks to reduce the swelling. They feel the damage to my sight is now permenant because my rods and cones have been so streched out.
Is there anything I can do? Do you think following a PWFD will change anything? I eat well and excercise. I don't smoke. I feel like there might be something wrong besides my cholesterol and nobody is catching it. I've had every test imaginable done.
Please help if you can.
Thanks,
Rich
