my eye lids are dry and sometimes itch i wanted to know is this allergy related? i get bad allergies and have them all yr long. i use coco butter and or shea butter to help the dryness.....any advice would be appreciated...thank u

Hi, Aaliyah.
The skin around your eyes is among the thinnest in your body and, as such, is very susceptible to contact dermatitis.
Do you use eye makeup? If so, you might try using only seriously hypoallergenic makeup (including cold cream cleansers) for a few weeks to see how much that might help.
What are you doing about your allergic tendency, anyhow? If you do nothing about that, things will just continue to get worse, over the years, until you have something like MCS and you do not want THAT.

the only thing i use on my eyes is aveeno soap when i wash my face, then i use the coco butte, but maybe the soap is drying the skin out around my eyes? i dont wear eye make-up at all...i havent had a bad allergic reaction in about 2 yrs. what can i do to prevnet allergic reactions?

Anyone can react to anything. The best way to know is to use only seriuos hypoallergenic stuff and see what happens.
Elimination an allergic tendency is an involved process that includes dealing with LGS.
