Hi LL,

Hope you don't mind my butting in here. I read your earlier post and wondered how you were doing. What's your diet like?

Are you following Dr. Stoll's (earlier) suggestion that you get on a whole foods diet? Are you drinking lots of spring water?

I'm thinking maybe you're also perimenopausal. When I was premenopausal, I felt like I was going downhill real fast, healthwise. At first, I didn't know what was going on.

I think it's a great idea to consult Dr. Stoll.

Best,
Mary

Sorry I hope Dr Stoll you read this , I just went on Dr Clark web site and it say's for Lugol's solution you you can use 6 drops of iodine . Is that true ? I am at this point wanting to try anything but scared because its iodine. I dont think Im alergic to it I had a cat scan a while ago and I think that is what they used for contrast (I think) thanks again . YOu will be hearing from me soon .

Lugol's solution Dr Stoll (Archive in fibrocystic.) Available without an Rx?

Hi, LL.

In my opinion, no matter what a nice guy your doc may be, he is not good enough for you. You can even find the article listed in the archives and put it right before his face and he would not look at it. The Lugol's and fibrocystic disease article was published in peer reviewed literature, nearly 20 years ago, (of which he should be aware) and still he doesn't care enough about his female patients to listen.

I will bet that if HE was a woman with the condition he would have a different attitude.

What he means about the internet is that he is not interested in anyone learning anything he does not already know since it might make him look bad.

Remember that this is all my opinion.

Listen to Dahlimama. I was not aware that it could be obtained without a prescription.

Walt

Yes, there are several internet sites where Lugol's solution may be purchased without a prescription. The Gerson therapy has been using it as part of their protocal for many years, and many of their patients were initially taking 18 drops per day, the dosage reduced after three weeks to approx. 10 drops a day. As an alternative have you tried organic dulse seaweed? Hi in iodine and many minerals.

Thanks, Mandy.

Could you post a few of these sources?
