To Happygal and others - Lugol's Solution

Posted by Amy [650.4] on October 25, 2005 at 14:30:05:

Hi Happygal,

I was reading through the archives on fibrocystic breast disease and found where Dr. Stoll recommends Lugol's solution. In one of the posts, you found a website that still offered it online, without a prescription. Unfortunately that link no longer works. I did a google search and found it offered at a site called jcrows.com. I ordered it and on the package it comes in it says "Poison - Talisman only." This makes me feel a little uncomfortable about using it. Do you have any thoughts on this? Did you or do you use Lugol's? If so, where do you get it?

Thanks for any thoughts.

Amy

Thanks, Dr. Stoll.
I did a google search and found that a site called JCrows sells it. (The site mentions Dr. D.C. Jarvis - are you familiar with him, Dr. Stoll? Reminded me of you :-))
The 1oz. bottle was about $15 including shipping. Here's the link:

Hi Amy,

Glad you found some. I haven't tried it yet, because I've been working on other, more important health issues first. When those are resolved, then I'll work in that direction. Might be soon.

Let us know how it goes for you. I will be interested to know how the Lugols brings changes for you, if any.

Best wishes,
Jan

Breast Cancer, Prostrate Cancer and iodine

There is mounting evidence that iodine deficiency is a major cause of breast, ovarian, uterine and prostrate cancer and cysts. I had an article published with these facts and it is posted at the link below. I encourage you to read the article.

Two drops of Lugol's solution contain the same amount of iodine as one tablet of the iodine supplement Iodoral. Lugol's solution is much cheaper than Iodoral.
