Hello,
I stared doing exercise in Treadmill & Stair about a year
ago and developed calf swelling in my left leg.
Recently my doctor ordered MRI and found out it is
caused by fluid collection/internal bleeding. Also
he told me to goto physical therapist for next few
weeks.
My question is can calf swelling due to above condition
be present for more than a year ?. It does not bother me
much except some mild pain. The swelling reduces in size
when I stop doing exercise and apply ointment like Tiger
Balm, but it does not completly go away.

Dear Shankar,
Of course, an injury could cause exactly what you are experiencing and what has shown up on the MRI. HOWEVER, the real question is: Why has it not healed???!!!
You have to be continually reinjuring it---something that is common if you have an underlying cause for the original injury--so it cannot heal properly.
in MY experience, the only thing that can do that, in cases like this, is total body bracing. See the glossary for unfamiliar terms.
THEN, if you have more questions, write again.
