MORE MEDICAL-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX

Fluoridation

If fluoride is so great, why have the following countries either never fluoridated or else stopped when they found out how bad it was?: West Germany, The Netherlands, France, Belgium, Finland, Japan, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Scotland

Only about 2% of the population of Europe is subjected to fluoridated water.

Natural calcium fluoride is not the same as the dangerous sodium fluoride. Sodium fluoride is a toxic by-product of industrial aluminum production that is dumped into our water supply as an inexpensive way of disposal.

The National Federation of Federal Employees, Local 2050, which represents scientists, engineers and other professionals at the headquarters of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, DC, stated: "Our members' review of the body of evidence over the last 11 yrs, indicates a link between fluoridation and cancer, genetic damage, neurological impairment and bone pathology. Of particular concern are recent epidemiological studies linking fluoride exposure to lower I.Q. in children"

Can you filter the fluoride out? Itıs not as simple as it sounds. We understand that the fluoride ion is smaller than the water molecule; so simple filtration devices will not remove fluoride.

A more expensive and elaborate system is needed, such as distillation or reverse osmosis purification. Even if you can remove fluoride from your water at home, you may still be subject to ingesting fluoride from foods served at restaurants or from prepared packaged foods, because manufacturers and restaurant owners may not opt to use these expensive systems. We have Well water... the dentist was concerned when my children were young as we didn't have "city fortified" water. (We specifically stayed away from city water when looking for a home)...
In any case, they prescribed "floride tablets" for my children but I never even picked up the prescription. I felt that the floride they recieved in their toothpaste was enough.
THeir second teeth are in and all seems fine.
Do you think this was the right thing to do?
Let me explain my rationalle...
Years and years ago, people did not have this "fortified' water and were fine...my mother did not have it and she went to her grave with not only all of her own teeth but only one filling. I am all for supplements, but know that floride isn't the best for your body.
What do you think?

the public at large has been duped about this, including many dentists and doctors. The CDC, for example, has NO documents supporting the use of supplemental fluoride in preventing tooth decay. The only scientific research showing ANY benefit at all was during the first 24mth of life using TOPICAL fluoride (not ingestible or pill form.) In other words, fluoride INSIDE the body does absolutely nothing for teeth at any age! The sodium fluoride is nothing but run-off from fertilizer production. The truth is, this was all a cozy backroom deal with industry to eliminate the impossible burden of waste disposal. We live in a time when the human body is only good to be used as a garbage collection system. This is what your public health agencies think of us!

Hi, Michele.

Listen to PeterB.

If you REALLY want to understnd this look up "dental and enamel microtubules" and their function. You will soon understand why wellness is the most effective way to prevent cavities. I think you chose wisely.

Let us know what you learn.
