Walt....
I have the anticardiolipin antibody. I have been instructed to take 81 mg od baby aspirin daily to combat the risk of blood clots. I stopped taking the baby aspirin over a year ago when my leaky gut problems manifested themselves. All of my MD's strongly advise that I continue to take this to prevent the risk of clots/strokes. What do you think? They say the benefits outweigh the risks of side effects. How will this 81 mg's affect my LGS? Would it be better for me to go on coumadin? Any advice or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. I go back to the rheumy on the 14th, and I would like to discuss it with him further.
Thanks Jen

Hi, Jennifer.
With this genetically determined defect, I would recommend taking one adult aspirin twice a week (exactly the same benefit as one baby aspirin daily) and put your efforts into the wellness that will resolve the LGS.
