hi, i did some reading about castleman's disease and MVP, basically because I was wondering if these disorder is inheritance as in, if it will pass down to lower generation. I had have castleman’s disease when I was 8 and an operation was done to remove the growth. My wife, had MVP since young and seems to have all symptoms of MVP. She is also a G6PD gem carrier. As I had read much about these 2 disorder and deficiency, there is no record to whether each individual disorder is inheritance and will like to have more information about it, since I am rather sure that G6PB deficiency will be pass down should I suffer from it.

Steven,
Genetics are important but what you DO with your genes is 4 times as important. The old debate of "nature vs nurture" has now been resolved. Unfortunately this information will take at least a generation to filter down into the public consciousness!
