I can remember, when I was still practicing the simplistic allopathic paradigm (didn't know any better) using Synthroid exclusively.

There are 2 reasons: 1. Ignorance and 2. One does not have to think very much to use synthroid. It is much more challenging to use what is demonstrably much better for the patient: Armour.

The research is now clear: Synthroid is perhaps the worst replacement choice for anyone. Abbott's response to this is to start an advertizing blitz for USING it. It looks like they are more interested in wringing the very last dollar from their long time cash cow than what is good for their customers.
