My new doc has suggested that i try it this therapy. I have consistently low body temperature (lab tests show low-normal) and many other symptoms. I do practice yoga and meditation, keep stress under control, and eat pretty well, but still feel lethargic, depressed, and always cold. Anybody have any experience to share?

Hi Jenny,
I learned about Wilson's on this BB. I did some reading on their website, and have been subscribing to the e-newsletter, but have not tried the therapy yet. My doc is into a lot of things, but not this yet. I will probably try their thyrocare when I finish my current supply of OTC thyroid supplements. I've had most of the symptoms of hypothyroidism for many years, but my test results have always been normal. I had my mercury amalgam fillings all replaced and am doing chelation therapy. Also SR. I'm making progress. Wilson's looks interesting and I've got it on my list of things to try in the future, if needed.
Looking forward to hearing what you learn and decide. The testimonials about it are certainly compelling.
Wishing you the best,
Nutmeg

Hi Jenny,
I thought I had Wilson's Syndrome and did a bunch of research. I spoke with one woman who tried the therapy and she ended up spending $10,000 and didn't resolve her problem.
Have you read the dysautonomia archives on this BB? I'm wondering if that's what's going on for you.
Also read the article, How to be Healthy. The Three-Legged Stool decribed in that article, plus a few other things (stretching, massage, and vitamin B3), have given me the best help of the huge number of things I've tried. I'm making continual positive progress in becoming healthier -- and happier.
Always cold? Are you eating enough protein? When I was really cold, my doctor at the time told me to eat 40% protein and it really helped warm me up.
Best wishes,
Happygal

I read a lot on Wilsons' syndrome a while ago, when I had a period of low body temperature. Everyone on the board asked me if I had problems with adrenals, which I promptly denied (the blood tests were great, as usual). My thyroid tests were normal, too. So instead of getting more concerned about what I possibly may have, I started jogging daily. This worked very well :). In retrospective, I can see my fatigue was adrenal-related. Exercise is really important for adrenals. (Btw jogging worked for me, as I always loved running. Others might prefer something else).
It is so difficult to distinguish a syndrome when symptoms are overlapping. Especially when we are layfolk, and are mixing conventional and alternative approach. (This has been bothering me a lot.) Anyhow, I did have low morning temperature (96,2 average), but I did not put on a lot of weight, nor was my hair was coarse etc. I did not have many of the low-thyroid symptoms. Now I can see that I was just temporarily overexhausted.
In the end I decided to trust the bloodworks, and to do what Walt always said we should. I adjusted the diet (more protein) and I started doing aerobic exercise, daily. SR? Well, I had no need to relax, as my problem was the opposite. I couldn't get going! So instead of forcing myself into motion, I just slept whenever I felt tired. This last thing is also, I think, a difference between adrenal fatigue and hypothyroidism. In adrenal fatigue, sleep replenishes the adrenal glands, and after some weeks/ months, we start feeling better. Not so in hypothyroidism: one is always sleepy, and never refreshed after a sleep.
I don't know what you have, but I thought I'd share my experience, because I was almost convinced I had something like Wilsons syndrome, when in reality, I did not. Good luck with your recovery.
Sonja

Hi Jenny,
Promising results kept me at it for nearly a year, but the positive results never held.
However since I started taking long chain omega 3 (marine{fish} oil) SERIOUSLY, my cold body has become just a bad memory! WOW!.
Currently I am taking a product called LYPRINOL www.lyprinol.com/about.htm It is well worth a few days to check it out. It seems to me to be as good as as their advertising, and some research indicates, and that is many many times stronger than even Dr Sears highly refined fish oil.

How do you find out if you got to high copper level?
I read that only by biopsy of liver. It is stored there if it is Wilson's. I thought I got the Wilson's, because I drunk (in past)tons of BLACK ( 2 t per cup of water) of tea without milk or sugar. I still don't know if I have it.
What is Wilson's Syndrom therapy?
