Please send any information about the disease. I thought it was my heart all these weeks.

Dear Peggy,

First, you begin by becoming an expert in your condition. The best way to start doing that is to read a copy of my book (see link at the bottom of this page).

THAN, do not hesitate to ask your questions here on the BB so others can benefit from our communications.

Dear Karen,

Why not learn WHY you have it & get rid of it?

I have seen many others rid themselves of this condition by becoming an expert in its causation (in their personal case).

This is one of the major reasons I wrote my little book (see link below). Once you have that information under your belt, I would be happy to help you more here on the BB.

Then, as you get well, I would appreciate your sharing your experiences with the participants of the BB so others would begin to realize that they do not have to be at the mercy of this condition.

Dear M,

You are askijng the questions that need to be asked. Of course, Graves is caused by the same immunological mechanisms that cause all the other auto immune conditions.

Fifty years ago, Hans Selye, MD, began publishing his work that explains all this. Now, 50 years later, the medical profession is finally starting to understand what he said way back then.

We can expose a large number of people to the same life style, stresses, etc., and they will all come down with different conditions. The difference in who gets what auto immune condition is their genetic susceptibility.

Anyone with any chronic condition would profit from reading my new book since it is written for the express purpose of opening the door to their understanding how all their conditions are interrelated.

What about alternatives to traditional western medicine?
e.g. Chines herbal and acupuncture. Or energy medicine?
What is your opinion?

Dear Ernest,

Your questions tell me that you are one of the ones for whom I wrote my new book (see link below).

THEN, once you have THAT basic information under your belt, please write again with any further questions you might have.

Hi Melanie,

Here is info about Dr Stoll's book. There is a chapter about endocrine conditions. In a nutshell, hypothyroid condition is (always?) caused by stress. You'd be best served by learning and practicing a form of skilled relaxation 10 minutes twice a day for the rest of your life.

Will you please send me info about the genetic cause, location
of the defective gene, any treatments, symptoms, and who
discovered the disease.
Thank You,

Dear Justin,

Unless you are writing a paper, I would suggest you look at this condition holistically & get rid of it.

This has been discussed, exhaustively, right here on this BB, for years. You could find all the articles for the past few months by using the search engine provided. The articles include people who have resolved this problem by learning what it is all about.

I even have several chapters in my book (link below) about this very subject if you are looking for a resolution to the problem.

If you ARE writing a paper, your best bet would be to go to your local library (if you have a medical school in your community, go there) & ask them to show you a copy of Harrison's "Principles of Internal Medicine" which should have the information you need.

Dear Michelle,

Use the search feature & read everything on this BB about this condition. I have used this condition in my book as a good example of how a terrible disease can be reversed by simply understanding the causes & reversing them (link below).

Then, if you still have questions, write again. When I was first in practice 35 years ago, it was unusual for any physician to see this condition in their entire lifetime practice experience. Now it is common. Has the human race evolved this fast over the past 30 years of is something causing it?

Dear Norman,

It is time for you to stop being a helpless pawn of the medical monopoly & put your next efforts into learning. I am assuming, from your note, that you have already made THAT decision--which is the hardest thing you would have to do to answer your own questions.

First. I have several chapters in my new book designed to answer exactly those questions (link below). Once you have that information under your belt, if you still have more questions, write again.
