hello every1, ive found this site and suffice it to say quite intruiguing and informative. i say since ive been about 19 my hairline has been a little back in the front. i am now 24 and 5 years later have lost no more hair but if i look closely in the mirror i can still see real tiny hairs coming from my scalp where the hair is missing. ive always wondered if there was anything i could do to make them fully grow back in again. i read your article doctor Stoll about vitamin supplements. baldness does not run in my family and i have no wish to become bald. so do you doctor stoll or anybody else here have any suggestions? thank you for your time

Hi Mike,
I have just started using a treatment called Thymuskin. They say you get new hair growth showing within 2 - 3 months regardless of the reason for the thinning hair or baldness.
It treats alopaecia, male pattern baldness and female pattern baldness. You have to use the treatment lotion and the shampoo, but there are other products too - like a gel to apply at night which is not a requirement but helps things along.
It's expensive, but if you're interested go to www.thymuskin.com

have used it for about 7 months - there is an amazing difference in my hair and I suspect in about a year I will have a full head of hari once again - the best part is that once the hair has grown in, you taper off using the product and only use it occassionaly instead of every day...good luck.

Hi,
How long before you started to see new hair growth?
Do you use the gel as well?
Regards,

I use the yellow shampoo, the gel and the treatment - that's all. First thing I noticed was that my hair stopped falling out. No more hair in the bathtub or on my pillow (I am a woman, btw) - then I noticed when I got out of the shower that the hair on my scalp was becoming fuller and fuller - it took about 3 months to see a noticeable difference, then it rested for about 2 months - no real difference (I've been taking monthly photos just to be sure) - then month 6, WOW, tons of new hair and it just keeps growing in - I still have about a year to go on the stuff, but it will be worth it - I paid over $2,500 for a hair piece to wear, having been told it would last about 3-6 years, at which time it would need to be replaced - thymuskin is expensive, but once the hair has grown back, I'll never have to "replace it" again - just maintain. Hope that helps. Feel free to ask any other questions.

Hi, I just started using Thymskin myself. I must have missed something though I only ordered the yellow shampoo and the gel.
I thought it was an either or type thing.
Do you use this every day and how many times do you apply the treatment and gel each day?
Also, do you know if the shampoo is safe for color treated hair?
Thanks,
Hairo

Hi Hairo,
You MUST have the treatment otherwise it will not work. It is the shampoo and the treatment that does the trick. The gel is optional.
I use the shampoo EVERY time I wash my hair (never use your own), then while the hair is still damp after towel dry, apply the treatment. I use the gel on dry hair at night.
Good luck.

Hi,
I'm a woman too. I am not bald but my hair is VERY thin and you can clearly see a lot of scalp. I have no real bald patches, just not much hair overall. I am hoping so much this will do the trick and I am so glad you posted. I have been using the stuff for 2 weeks now and I notice less coming out and the condition is so much better.
I know you're not supposed to use a hairdryer, but I'm afraid I have to because I cannot go to work with wet hair. I suppose I could wash it at night instead. Never really thought about that.
Many thanks for posting. I was wondering whether I am wasting my money, but now I feel really encouraged.
Regards.

Sorry, forgot to say YES the whole kit is safe for colour treated hair.

Hi, Baldy.
I hope this works for you. However, I doubt that anyone will say that baldness is a thymuskin deficiency. No one yet knows what this stuff is doing to the rest of your body. That will not be known for 30 years.
Let us know how you do.

Thanks, Hair.
I will be very interested in hearing how you are doing in about 2 years. Perhaps this is a solution for many people but that is yet to be seen.

Hi, Mike.
Baldy and Hair may have something here. I have not heard of this stuff before.
See my notes to both of them.
So far as nutrition is concerned, the stuff has to get to the hair follicles for it to work. That brings into play the LGS and bracing factors. Since wellness addresses both, it would be prudent to hedge your bets by doing that for a year while you are using the thymo.
I hope others who have tried this stuff will let us know how it worked (or didn't work) for them.
Let us know how you do.

Hi Walt,
The Thymuskin treatment is something which the Thymus Gland usually produces and apparently gets sluggish. See link below.

This is exactly how I use it as well - I also add a little of the gel to my eyebrows at night, too. Per the directions. Good luck - it really is working, but does take time.

YES! You are so right about the additional and necessary WELLNESS steps to accompany this approach. I have been following PWF and doing SR in addition to using Thymuskin. I am the one who has been using this product for 7 months now...so I am sure it's all working in tandem. Thanks for the reminder!

I'm also using Thymuskin. I notice the directions say to use just a few drops on the scalp. Is this what you do or do you saturate the entire area?
I'm just not sure of the amount and tend to go back and forth with it.

I use the dime size portion of shampoo - 10 drops of treatment in th a.m. and 1/2 dropper of gel in the p.m.- daily...I used more and was a bit careless at first, but re-read the instructions about quantity and am still having good results with this modest amount...hope this helps.

Thanks, Baldy, but my machine tells me that "This page cannot be displayed."

I notice that after several months, they say you can just use this 2x a week. Is this to mean, that if you wash your hair more often, you can use something else? I'm just not sure.

My understanding is that once you've achieved the level of desired hair re-growth, you can cut down the usage to once or twice a week to maintain - I still have another 6 mos to 12 mos more before I can do that, but I had major hair loss. Also, someone asked about hair coloring - my experience is that I have to color my hair more frequently, so I have started to use vegetable hair dyes that one can get at the health food store...probably a better way to go any way....hope this helps - I'll post occasionally to update everyone, if you're all interested - I'll even post photos at my one year anniversary...

There is a man who I work with who takes flax seed oil as his hair is receding. He also occasionally shaves his head bald, in hopes that this will kickstart hair growth. One of my ex boyfriends use to do this (shave his head), but I never noticed that his hair grew back any thicker.
