Hair shedding

Posted by Webster [215.1351] on June 28, 2005 at 11:10:48:

For at least five years I have shed enough hair while showering to plug the drain screen and require me to constantly brush the hair away with my foot or the tub would fill with water (my hair is pretty long). While looking through the archives I read that Walt recommended 4 grams of Esterfied Vitamin C and 1000 iu of natural E daily along with a whole foods diet and SR to thwart familial baldness. I don't have familial baldness but I was losing more hair than usual and it concerned me. I have already been doing the SR long term and my diet has continued to improve, but I had pretty much weaned myself off of supplements. I started taking C & E again of the type and dosage he suggested and three days later there was NO hair in the drain. It's a month later and there is still virtually no hair in the drain, truthfully, about one tenth of the previous amount. My skin looks pretty good for 51, as well. Although I still have enough problems for two normal people, I'm glad I got respite from the loss of hair. My son says: "You look like hell dad, but at least you've still got your hair." Small consolation, but consolation none the less.

And my blood pressure readings, three to five times a day randomly for a week, have all been less than 130/90.

What is Esterfied C as opposed to any C that I'd buy?

I don't know. Mine is not to reason why, mine is but to do or die. The sucky part is, even if I do, I still die. Just not as soon.

Webster,

Ester C absorbs better..Silica is also good for hair, eyes, nails, arteries, cartilage and tendons..

Under your P.S. your bp is a little high..The second number should be down below 80..Keep tabs on it..

Ester-C is supposed to be more absorbable than others.

Thanks, Webster.

Sounds like you do not need anything more than checking your BP at home for now. Now would be a good time to learn SR and practice it regularly.
