I'm 33 and was told by my Dr. I have temporal arthritis, have been taking prednisone for about 2 months, and I hate the stuff. My ears ring and my jaw hurts, along with my neck at times. I don't know much about this, could you help me, because my Dr. seems to not know much about this either, he wants to do a biopsy, should I go along with him on this?

Hi, Diana.
From what you have said here I believe that temporal arteritis is NOT the diagnosis. The biopsy would prove that.
So, if it were me, I would get the biopsy.
This is almost certainly a muscle tension headache with possible TMJ.
Let us know what you learn.
