Type this into a search engine:
headaches, migraines, vascular, food, triggers
You will get a few thousand hits. Coffee, cheese, wine, peanuts are a few that are common.

Sugar, without a doubt triggers mine. When I cut sugar completely out I can have cheese and those other "bad" foods (bad, yeah, right). I can even tolerate a little red organic wine now that I have cut out sugar.

A friend of mine figured out that oranges triggered migraines for
her.

many migraine sufferers are sensitive to monosodium glutamate (also called MSG). When you start reading food labels you'll find it's used in many prepared foods --seasoned snacks like Doritos, Cheetos, many (but not all) canned soups, dips, seasoned packaged foods of all kinds.
My husband was miserable with migraines for years before learning of this connection. Other common foods can trigger migraines too, but MSG is one of the worst.

Thanks,John.
Do not forget how to stop a migraine (or any vascular headache) in it's tracks. See the home page.

There is a great book out that one of my clients told me about - it's called something like, "what md's don't tell you about migraines"...it's at barnes and nobles...
Hope that helps
