headache

Posted by nadam [5917.2425] on November 22, 2006 at 09:54:58:

Since last week I have a light headache that does not quit.
It is not located all over the head but the pain is concentrated at the top and slightly back of the head.
Also, it is not constant. It comes and goes and its period is not more than a few seconds.
I have not taken any painkiller as the feeling is not disturbing yet, however I am worried that it does not quit after about a week.
Do you have any idea what might the cause and any remedy?

dehydration is a common cause- drink at least a half gallon of water everyday (no, other liquids aren't an ok substitute). Aspirin can help thin the blood, which is a help when dehydrated. If you eat low salt, your body may not retain sufficient water, even though you consume it- add some salt to your diet (Real Salt is a form of sea salt with 50 minerals).
Foods can be triggers- hard cheese, shellfish, sulfur (like used in dried fruits and in MSM supplement), and cold foods, like ice cream or ice water, and MSG or Accent- common in Chinese food and some other ethnic cooking.

Have you been drinking any new wines or beer since this began?

Some are loaded with components which cause a headache in some people.

Hi, Nadam.

Listen to Ron & Ann.

If that does not resolve the headache, approach it via the muscle tension headache protocol. This is how these kind of headaches respond to what Ron & Ann are talking about: by muscle tension.

Let us know how you do.

Walt

Guys, it's amazing.
Only 48 hrs after I followed your advice, the headache was almost gone, and now, 5 days later it is vanished.
Thank you.
