Dr Stoll, I am a 44 yr old female, always been in excellent condition except for occasionally allergy problems and sinus headaches. Once in awhile I get a quick jab of a pain either behind my ear or on the back side of my head, then it sometimes moves to my eyebrow, can sinus act in this manner? Spectavular book by the way, I enjoyed it so much, thank you so uch for writing it!

May I ask what causes muscular headaches? Is this the same as tension headaches? Thanks again.

Hi, LouAnne.
ANY muscle that never relaxes (its normal state IS relaxation until it is needed for movement) eventually causes inflammation of the ligaments and tendons it attaches itself to the bone with. Muscle tension headache!
Just try holding your arm out to your side (horizontal) for an hour or so. You will eventually have excruciating pain.
