Today I made an interesting discovery. I have yet to break my addiction to caffeine, so please excuse me. I usually drink 2 diet sodas a day, out of a can and have headaches all day. Today, I drank a diet soda which was a fountain drink and one out of a can. I did not have a headache at all UNTIL I drank the soda out of the can. Is this a coincidence or could there be something going on with the can?

I think the cans are coated inside to avoid the aluminum BECAUSE of the need to prevent exactly this thing.
Remember, I said the inside. That means you get an exposure by drinking it from the can by touching the outside of the lid.
If you dump it into a glass, you would get less exposure. Perhaps your bodymind is trying to send you a message to stop the soft drinks. It is more likely the sugar (or the aspartame) is causing your symptoms-----OR the naked phosphorus when your system already has an overdose of that.

If you are getting headaches every day you are probably getting what headache specialists call rebound headaches. Any drug (that includes caffeine AND any over the counter pain pills AND prescriptions) can cause this. You need to gradually get off of these things. If your headaches are migraine, see Dr. Stoll's archives on migraine and try his hot water remedy. It will help you through getting off these things. I have a prescription to stop a migraine. However, it is more likely to work WITH the hot water remedy. Having daily headaches is no way to live. I know because I was once like that. Hope this helps.
