what about the arota valve?

tTo whome it may concern; I have a question about MVP,I have been told that i have this i have even had a heart cath. they all come back as showing that i do have this condition. My question however is that i find alot of info. on the mitrial valve ;but i also have a sereve leackeage of the aroitc valve. And icannot find anything on this. so if you can get me any imformation on his i would greatly appreicate it. Sincerly; Darlene

Darlene,

You have rheumatic valvular disease until proven otherwise. Get a good medical book and read up on it. Your mitral lesion is NOT what we have been discussing on this BB for years.

You need another consultation to compare with what you have been told--soimeone who cares enough for you as a person to fully explain this to you. OR your present docs could take the time to fully explain this to you, to YOUR satisfaction (as is their duty for the money they get), and not just to THEIRS.
