I have been diagnosed with a small hiatus hernia and am experiencing a lot of burning. Is there any non-surgical healthy successful treatment? What is this ginger root juice method of treatment? Is this type of treatment a permanent (daily for the rest of my life) treatment/solution? What are the risks with having surgery? I meditate daily, have good posture, am not overweight at all. Anybody with answers please mail me - I will be really grateful.

Harsheela,
Have you been to the archives? If not, click on the "Glossary/Index" link at the top or bottom of this page and scroll down to "HH - Hiatus Hernia". There you will find all the discussion that has gone on right here on the board in the past. Then if you have any new questions, Dr. Stoll can take his time to answer those.

I posted a message a few days ago about my husband's good results using a "kinesiologist" chiropractor to "pull down his diaphragm" and "work on his diaphragm". If you're interested, I think my post was in response to question like yours.
