I recently read an article about the many benefits to eating honey. The article also stated that honey would cure heartburn. Well guess what? They were right. When I eat honey during the day, the Gerd is gone. I am now completely off all antacids, including my Zantac. No more meds whatsoever! Just pure raw Honey-Liquid Gold. Does someone have any explanation as to what is going on in my body?

Hi Patrick,
I don't like sweets, but Dr. Cass Ingram ( guru of oregano oil) is promoting real honey as a natural medicine for many health problems. From his book "Life saving cures", uses of unprocessed honey against disease:
- for halting diarrhea and intestinal cramps
- " preventing infection and scarring in burns
- " firming up sloppy stools (especially in infants)
- " healing wounds and killing germs in wounds
- " application for abrasions, cuts, and sores
- " easing constipation
- " halting coughs and lung congestion
- " aiding in the growth of natural/healthy intestinal bacteria
I would NOT give honey to infant. But it is predigested food.
