Walt,

I've been doing the SR for just over 2 months and have been taking the ginger for a week and a half. I decided to try and reduce the Zoton I'm taking from 60mg a day to 30mg to see if it would have any effect. My throat has started to feel like I have something stuck in it and I have pain and a tightness feeling between my ribs and generally feel a lot worse. Would it be wise to carry on only taking 30mg and see if the SR and ginger inprove my condition or shall I increase my dosage again, as I'm desperate to stop taking medication.

Many thanks

The ginger has worked wonders for me for over a year. I still take a PPI (like Zoton) and increase the dose for a short time if I feel the symptoms returning.

For the past year I have drunk root ginger as a hot drink (by sprinkling the powder from capsules into boiling water). I have not had a single cup of caffeine, neither tea or coffee and this I believe has contributed greatly in reducing the reflux.

So plenty of ginger and no caffeine. Worth a try!

Paja,

Keep up your prescription until at least the 3 weeks of the GRJ has been done. Remember to learn about LGS and start reversing THOSE causes. How did you certify that the SR was working? IF is it working expect 6 months to reverse the problem that way.

Let us know what you learn and how you do.

Walt
