Hi, daNY.

For any GERD so simple that "laporoscopic" surgery could help it, it has to be pretty mild. He is going to put a couple of stitches at the diaphragmatic opening for the esophagus. When you find that it only helps temporarily (at best), I would suggest you learn how to get rid of LGS so as to deal with both your problems.

What does you surgeon think the surgery is going to do to help your depression--or your allergies, etc.?

They are all caused by the same thing.
