Esophageal Stricture

Posted by
Cam on December 28, 2000 at 13:27:00:

I have a Esophageal stricutre which my doctor says is due to scarring caused by acid reflux. I recently had an EGD and the esophagus was stretched. I understand that I will have to do this several times. Is there anything natural that will help?

Thanx
Cam

Hi, Cam.

It is unfortunate that you did not know how to get rid of your GERD before so much scarring was present. NOW, the only thing I know is the stretching for the rest of your life. The frequency of that stretching will be less IF you do what you should have done years ago--see the archives. Of course, your stricture will get worse if nothing is done about how it got there---won't it?

Walt
