I had this done nearly two years ago. I still feel as though I have a heavy weight behind my ribs. consultant says it will ease as nerve endings heal but this seems to be taking ages.Is this normal.

Hi, Bell.
These are questions you need to be asking those who did the procedure. THIS 'site is about dealing with WHY you have the condition in the first place. Since the surgery did NOTHING about those causes, what do you expect?
When you are ready to do something about them, the first thing you have to do is learn about them. Use the glossary for any unfamiliar terms and the archives to learn about your problem.
