Hi. I posted a question to this board sometime last June, I think. I had been experiencing nausea at night just after lying down to go to sleep, almost every night for over 5 years. Dr. Stoll said it was probably GERD. Well, I guess just knowing what it was was enough to relax me! I've had it again either 2 or 3 times since last June, a vast improvement over every might for 5 years! I really didn't change anything else in my life or habits, although I paid more attention to how close to bed time I ate or drank something (not that I used to gorge myself before retiring, you understand). I realize that this is probably not typical, and others with the same problem may need more relaxation or adjustments. Being a teacher, though, I am thrilled with this example of the power of knowledge! Thank you, Dr. Stoll, for giving my mind the info it needed to take care of my body.

Thanks, Ellen.
NOW, as a teacher, I hope you will learn about LGS which is WHY you had the GERD.
Let us know what you learn.
