Ginger and Hiatus hernia

I am also an Aussie and very glad to say that Ginger Juice has worked perfectly for me Ė just as the statements I read.

My hiatus hernia causes me a problem (pain) during the night after I have been drinking coffee during the day. If I donít drink coffee for two days or more I donít have any trouble but I like to drink coffee so I persevere with the pain.

What happens is that after I have been in bed for around five to six hours I get a quite severe and increasing pain in my lower back (through the nerve connecetiosn to the breast plate cavity). Itís virtually impossible to stay in bed so I get up and either walk around or sit in a chair for an hour. After that I can go back to bed and resume my sleep without any pain. This has been going on for at least five years.

I began taking ginger juice (approx 20ml per day) about three weeks ago and I can now stay in bed as long as I want and have a normal sleep. Wonderful!

The ginger routine has also helped me, (with GERD), but the hiatus hernia is still a factor. Dr. Walt do you believe that chiropractic manipulation is effective for this problem? I've heard pros and cons. Thank you.

Hi, Harry.

I have seen it help selected individuals. In the long run , nothing works like dealing with the LGS that almost always lies behind it.
