GERD & Gastroparesis

Dr. Stoll,

What is the relationship between my GERD and my
diagnosis of Gastroparesis (slow gastric emptying). Is
there any way to increase my gastric emptying? I get a
sensation of a lump in my throat after I eat. Burping
relieves this sensation temporarily.
