Hi,

Are you practicing SR? Because according to the archives this is THE key to your problem. 20 minutes, twice a day.

I just found my tape, which I am going to start using tonight. Is SR and Self Hypnosis the same thing or is there a difference?

Hi Nanette,

Self-hypnosis is one of many forms of SR. The goal is to reach alpha or theta, whichever form of SR you choose to do. You can get a GSR or go to a biofeedback technician to find out if you are truly reaching the right brain wave states to release the stored stress in the hypothalamus which is the cause of so many chronic health complaints. Try the SR archives and the chronic hives archives. Good luck to you.

Hi, Nannette.

Self-hypnosis can be a form of SR. It is kind of unique since it can give immediate relief from symptoms whereas all other forms of SR take months to get results with actual symptoms.

Remember, self-hypnosis is a skill (just like SR is) and the more you practice it the better you will get with it.

Walt
