Dr Stoll thank you for reading my story. When you say hives people think no big deal, but it is.I have learned a lot on my own, and been to many doctors. At age 22 I broke with hives and kept them for 30 years. I read everything I could and came across something about that it was usually after a virus that they would start and they named mono as one of the virus. My hives started 6 months after I had mono.I began to build my immune system with vitamins and after 30 years and every test under the sun they went away.Almost 3 years ago I had surgury on my neck and had to have it twice, and a year after my surgury and after 10 years they have come back. I have had them now for almost 2 years and they will not go away.Si I am 60 years old and had hives for almost 30 years of my time on this earth. All the doctors can do is shake their heads and my life is very painful and I need to know if there is a study that could help me. Thank you for your input.Diane

Thanks, Diane.

Your history tells me, unequivocally, that your hives are directly related to your hypothalamic response to chronic stress accumulation. There is no doubt that the religious practice of certified effective SR would give you that "distance between where you live and the edge of your cliff" that your hives would finally become a thing of the past.

Questions?

Walt

I just went to an allergist and he confirmed that many people hive
when eating or after more from stress than "allergy"... we just went
before christmas. He said people "calm" a bit when eating but they
don't see that they are super stressed and eating causes physical
exertion/stress (in a lump sum the way he explained, I realize it is
more than that)

After our daughters breast lump (she was 15) was found to be fine, a
cyst/benign I felt SO relieved.. then ate dinner and BOOM hives.
Haven't had hives/flushing since UNLESS stressed. That one time
seemed to have caused a reaction start place and I am working on
dealing with it.

I've had 'em for years as well. Best thing I can offer is a high dose of good quality Grape seed extract, quercetin, vit. C and green tea.
I am able to keep my sanity by reducing size and itchiness substansially using above supplements .... especially the G.S.E. Try some Olympia Labs GSE. They make two strengths. Get strongest and take two daily. Really helps.Vitacost.com

High dose of Vit C for quicker healing and Listerine(amber colored regular one) for the itch. However, only after I discovered deep breathing or what is called as Pranayama in yoga, that I found a permanent cure (touch wood!).
