I posted yesterday about my 12 yr. old son's reaction to something eaten at a thai restaurant. I got responses about what may have caused it, but I need help with the actual rash. My son has had a traveling rash on his stomach, back arms and legs for three days now. Sometimes just small dots, other times all over his body.
Is there a good supplement, herb, food item, etc, to flush out the toxins? How long might this go on? Anti-histimines seem to help, but I don't want to just mask the symptoms.

Hi, Maureen.
It is all right to "mask the symptoms" so long as that is not all you do. There is no real treatment anyhow until the stuff, whatever it is, gets out of his system. The trick is not to get exposed again and to strengthen his immunity in the meantime.
Self hypnosis is, at this age, the most effective thing available IF he will give it a good try. Perhaps, if he is suffering enough, he will. Statistically, the more miserable the symptoms, the better self-hypnosis works.
