Dr. Stoll,
A friend of mine's father has systemic mastocytosis. Do you know if this is a curable condition? I saw very few posts in the archives on this condition, and one response from you mentioning the cause being LGS. I'm hoping you can shed some light on this - this man's daughter thinks that she may be a carrier and is concerned about having children - she was told that this affliction skips a generation.
Thank you for your time!
Cheryl

Hi, Cheryl.
Systemic Mastocytosis is just another kind of chronic hives and would be resolved the same way.
See the archives and let us know what you learn.
