Walt, just wanted to give you a "high five" for the help you have given me to date. i had been suffering from lgs, c-rs, mercury toxicity, and worst of all- severe (hundreds) daily chronic hives for last 9 months. i have been doing your protocol for 3 months now. The hives got less severe immediately and abated completely 6 weeks after starting self hypnosis ( i had tried everything and i was ready to jump off a cliff, thank you). Every once in a while i will get a small hive or 2 if i have a really stressful day or sleepless night, which to me shows the connection. The only disturbing symptom i have left is chronic fatigue/hangover type feeling everyday. i have been a bit depressed about this as i have read that many doctors claim a high cure rate, but in reality their patients simply do not return and the doctors assume a cure occurred but actually the patients aren't cured EVER.i'm taking natural anti fungals ( i had taken diflucan for a while-about 6 weeks)and anti parasite herbs and dmsa for the mercury in addition to your stuff.Another concern is someone told me if you take nystatin or other rx drugs for any longer than a week or 2 the candida can turn into a highly resistant strain. i just sent a cdsa off to great smokies to see what is going on in there .any helpful words?

i, too, suffered from severe chronic hives for years and tried many things, both holistic and allopathic, with little success. i'v been practicing skilled relaxation for 5 months and my hives also improved dramatically after only a few weeks. for the skeptics out there, this stuff really works.
you have my thanks, too, dr. stoll.

could you elaborate on exactly what you mean by self-hypnosis, john? is it something you do along with, instead of, or in addition to skilled relaxation/meditation? or is it something you can do when you feel an attack coming on. dr. stoll has mentioned self-hypnosis in regard to hives and i guess i assumed he just meant the skilled relaxation with visualization. maybe i'm missing something. like you my attacks are far less frequent and severe, but i'd sure like to end them completely. thanks for your help.

Dear d:
A good place to start learning about self-hypnosis is The Relaxation and Stress Reduction Workbood by Martha Davis and others. I learned about this book from Dr. Stoll.
Good luck,
Ignacio

Dear John,
Thanks for the testimonial and CONGRATULATIONS on what you have dons so far.
Like all "antibiotics" it is the long term, low dose, that causes resistant organisms. Those not killed are, by definition, the most resistant. SO, their offspring are the ones that have the most resistant genes.
That I why I insist on an adequate dose of the Nystatin (750,000 units on an empty stomach 4 times a day). Less CAN develop resistance ESPECIALLY if the treatment goes on for years. Too many docs use too little a dose even though anyone could take the whole bottle at once without any risk since NONE of it is absorbed. The risk is NEVER from taking too much but by taking too little.
Also, after 3 months, you are just at the place where you should be getting very significant results--which you are. If you are doing things right--as you must be to see results like this--if it were me, I would give it another 3 months before putting a lot of money or additional effort into your successful program.
Walt
