Hi, Walt

I'm glad I was able to be of some assistance. All that information was found by inputting Menstrual Cycle into the search engine on the post. One of the first things I normally check.

All the information is there, even if not put into a regular archives.:-) You, Bill and RHJ++ have done a fantastic job on this BB.

Extreme Illness during Mentrual Cycle

I have a friend who experinces extreme nausea, vomiting and dizziness during her periods. Her periods last about 10 days and she becomes so ill that she cannot stand and spends most of the time ill in the bathroom or in bed. She has been to countless Doctors and they have not pin-pointed what is causing this problem. One doctor, noting that she is Jewish, said that it could be something linked to being a mediterranean Jew. Does anyone out there have a clue as to what is causing this and what, if any, the remedy is?

Hi, Antonia

I've had problems with my cycle all of my adult life and can sympathize with your friend. Can't answer your questions, however, you can do some reading in the meantime of the archives of this BB. Attempted to link the archives by inputting menstrual cycle into the search engine at top right corner of this post.

Some of those conditions sound soooo familiar to me as well. Still having crazy menstrual cycles and that's why I'm scheduled for a D&C in a month from now. Hope your friend starts to feel better. It appears she hasn't found a capable doctor to help her.

Take Care Of Yourself

Thanks, Paulette.

I really am such a "nookie-head" about all this. If it were not for Bill, this 'site would never have happened.

"Nookie-head" is Bill's favorite term for me when I have problems with the 'site. His definition of what a nookie-head is is as follows:

"When one has to roll their eyes heavenward in response to a question from that person."

Now you know!

Re:(What is a nookie-head"?) Thanks For The Definition:-)

Hi, Walt

Heard you refer to nookie head before, just didn't know the definition. Now we all know. LOL Debated over responding to your question before finally posting.

Spent majority of the day with my math tutor. You know my most favority subject.:-)Learned that most people know more than they give themselves credit for. I'm learning that I don't listen or read to my potential. It's tough with a 49 year old returning to school after a longggg absence. Where there's a will, there's a way. BTW,Believe there are more than one "nookie heads" on this BB.:-)
