I am a 28 year old female who had a laperoscopy in February where they found endomitriosis. After 'zapping' the scar tissue, the follow up is a once a month shot of Depo Lupron. For the duration of the shot I am going through this temporary menopause and it stinks. I'm too young for this :) Afer 4 months the hot flashes were overpowering me so I decided to forgo the therapy and take the chance of the endomitriosis coming back. My doctor gave me samples of the Combipatch which is not helping. It's only been a few days, but I don't know how long it takes before it takes affect. It feels weird to take one medicine with several side effects to counteract the side effects of another. How horrible will be for me to just stop all of the treatments and be a normal 28 year old?

Monica, most of us are here for that very reason. Why not check the archives for endometriosis. Dr. Stoll has found that hormonal problems are also related to hypothalamus overload. Also candida-related syndrome is usually a component as well. You can use the Glossary and Archives to find out about them all.

Hi, Monica.
Listen to Sally (Thanks, Sally!)
You are NOT a normal 28 year old. So far all you have had is suppressive therapy. To BECOME a normal 30 year old, you will have to do the work of dealing with your genetic susceptiblilty as a 28 year old.
Let us know what you learn.
