Dear Dr. Stoll,
Someone I know has severe armpit odor which is ruining her clothes. The odor cannot be laundered or dry cleaned out. (She bathes daily and applies deoderant, not antiperspirant.)
No other part of her exudes odor. I checked out your section on anti perspirant, re the leaky gut thing, there is no other odor anywhere on her.
What might this be from? Your archive seemed to be about antiperspirant and its problems.....but she doesn't use that....just deoderant. Can you advise?
Thanks
Holi

Hi, holi.
Try the search engine for body odor. I know I have explained this in detail several times.
Basically she needs to totally change her resident bacterial ecology on her skin AND her clothes. This will take about a month and will entail sterilizing ALL of her clothes and bedding. A professional cleaner can do the latter.
Let us know what you learn.

Thanks, Daisy.
You are right: the item I was thinking about is buried in the middle of this information.
Namaste`

Hi Walt,
That is a good link for armpit odor. I was having problems with the anti-perspirant too.I switched to a (what I thought was natural perspirant and developed a rash from
scratching.....It was so painful I put neo-sporin on it for about a week. I still haven't gone back to ANY anti-perspiants. I'm just using a deorderant soap to wash,
and it keeps the odor at a minimum. Let me tell you, infected armpits are the pits!
