armpit odor

I always thought this was a hereditary thing but recently found out otherwise. I do not sweat alot even during workouts but I SMELL beyond belief under my arms. MY clothing will turn either yellow or blue in the underarm area sometimes and even the threads begin to seem to almost dissolve leaving holes there. Am I a freak or what? This is very embarrassing, especially when my own girls tell me how bad I smell. I went flying Friday afternoon to do my traffic reports, my armpits did not sweat but the smell offended my pilot and our passenger, my little girl. It is very hard to deal with this, I am thin and to many (not myself) pleasant to look at but NOT TO SMELL! HELP ME

Your diet is probably the most to blame.

Look into what you are eating AND changing the pH of your body.

I use hydrogen peroxide for underarm smells - works for me.

I stopped using anything with aluminum in it and what seems to work for me is lavander oil and powder with an organic deodorant of some type - I too smellto high heavens, the combination of these products make a huge difference, but I agree it must have something to do with your (and my) digestive systems...

good luck

Curious,

Try not eating any meat for a week or try eating raw fruits and veggies for a week and see if your odor doesn't go away..It has everything to do with digestion..More toxins are removed via the skin ( the largest organ you have ) than via the colon, nose, lungs..Toxins give off odor..

I have heard from some acquaintances that those crystal stones do work wonders.... but watch out for the ones that for some reason or another still have aluminum in them.

Since becoming a vegan (no animal products in my diet at all) I have no need for deodorant. Try giving up all meat, dairy and eggs for a month and add a many fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet as possible. You'll be amazed at the difference! And BTW I am a mother to two teenagers who would love to tell me if I smelled bad so I know I am not kidding myself!

If you can't give up all meats, consider what meats you are eating. People who consume more pork products smell differently than those who consume basically beef or chicken, so it might just be something as simple as giving up pork.

Hi, Cathi.

Start by looking to detoxification programs. There are lots of books about detox at your healthfood store. Learn about LGS to keep the problem from coming back once you have been thoroughly detoxed.

Also, see the archives about detox.

Let us know what you learn and how you do.

Walt
