Dear Doctor,
Please advise an alternative to conventional treatment for hypertension.
I have been put on -Bezide, Atenalol,Zestril, and now I am on Diltiazem a calcium channel blocker. The side effects of these drugs are sometimes more unpleasant than the disease,
and I would be grateful if you could suggest an alternative treatment that does not produce such debilitating side effects..
I look forward to your response.

Hi, Dootsiford.
I have yet to see a person with hypertension whose pressure was not normal within 6 months by their practicing wellness (for the 25 years that I have known enough to deal with causes rather than just give drugs to cover symptoms).
Key things are using mineral salt, taking essential oils, gentle, regular exercise, SR and a whole foods diet.
See the glossary for any unfamiliar terms and the articles on the homepage for wellness.
THEN, if you still have questions, write again.
As your hypertension abates, Please share your experiences with the BB so others will find out that there ARE alternatives that safely help and do not just feed the coffers of the medical monopoly.
Your doc will know enough to gradually reduce your medications as your causes abate. If he does not, you will start having hypotensive episodes until any idiot can see that the medications are causing more risk of coronary and stroke than the condition.
