Factors Effecting Blood Pressures

Posted by Paulette on January 15, 2001 at 17:43:58:

Hi, Walt

What kind of factors can cause a low blood pressure to suddenly become high blood pressure? This is with low blood pressure running in a family's history. One visit 118/79 to increase to 140/100.

Remember reading some place that low blood pressures will eventually tend to become high blood pressure later on in life. I can't remember where I read that, however, is kind of distressing.

Hi, Paulette.

Since both high and low blood pressure are 2 stages of the same process (dysautonomia) it is no wonder that they tend to happen in the same person.

The wise person recognizes the warning that low pressure is and does something about the stress-effect BEFORE it becomes high pressure. See the graph on page 17 (Yerks-Dodson Law) of my book.

Hi, Walt

I've got a small problem in I've got to make another book order.Given away the extra books and my book disappeared after my brother was here a few weeks ago.

Could this have anything to do with the mild pulmonary hypertension.

Hi, Paulette.

Probably not since pulmonary hypertension usually has a specific cardiac cause.
