I have received a recent diagnosis of IC. I have searched your recommended sites and reviewed all pages that relate to IC. I am in need of foods that are beneficial verses those that are not benificial. The most I have been able to retrive from my doctor is stay aways from foods with acid and caffine. Please advise me as to all foods that I am able to eat. I would also appreciate any suggestions of books that offer meals.
Thank you for your assistance.

You absolutely have to do SR to help your condition. Check the glossary and articles on bracing and skilled relaxation.

Hi, Alice.
Dietary triggers are as individual as people are. Diet is just the easiest thing to change. It could be DDT or your termite chemical or your floor cleaning chemical (even your perfume), etc. An elimination/provocation diet is the easiest, most accurate and cheapest way to find dietary triggers. See the archives.
SR is the one absolutely necessary single thing for IC.
Let us know how you do.
