update on my healing...about six months

Posted by elizabeth on June 12, 2000 at 11:54:37:

Dear Doc Stoll,

My inflammation of vaginal/urinary area continues to diminish. I fully intend to completely heal this! And I thank you for starting me down that path. I run or walk almost every morning, do yoga and meditation as my relaxation, and eat a mainly whole foods diet.

Intercourse is now an option for me again! :) YAY!

But, not *always*. It depends how I'm feeling. Also the urgency and "squeezing" feelings have diminished to just a very mild warm feeling and frequency mainly in the morning.

Did you say it took a good year to completely clear this?

I feel I could do it in seven months!

Love,
Elizabeth
who hopes you're feeling better every day

Thanks, Elizabeth.

Your testimonial will help others see that there are other options to just "living" with this (if you can call it living).

Doc,

Did you say it took a year to clear the tension completely?

I so want to do it SOONER!

Blessings,
elizabeth

Hi, Elizabeth.

Everyone wants their problem resolved YESTERDAY. A few people will resolve their problem in the tine you are wishing for but the vast majority are average. This means, of course, about the same % that would resolve it in the time you are wishing for would take a year and a half to resolve. That makes the average a year.

BESIDES, your feeling of urgency is the antithesis of what you are aupposed to be experiencing with your SR. In other words, it is prolonging your stressful feelings. Think about it.

Hope this helps.

Namaste`

Walt

yes, and in all this: "urgency" is a metaphor

Dear Doc,

You are correct. Patience is a good thing.

I feel all this symptomology has reinforced a major "mind" issue through "body" communication. That "urgency" isn't necessary! As I release and accept with that in mind, the physical urgency (of urination) has diminished.

Cool eh?

Blessings,
E.

in other words: "relax, and go with the flow" (nmi)
