"Girly" pain

Posted by Jenny on December 18, 1998 at 01:07:59:

Hi, Walt.

My question for you is this--in June I was diagnosed with dysmenorrhea. (sp?) I have severe pains during my menstrual cycle and also experience nausea, diarrhea, faintness, and chills. No mention has been made of endometriosis any time I have gone to the Dr. for this--each time I have had an internal exam.

I know I have candida, as I am also plagued with horrid allergies, wheezing, toenail fungus (which is clearing up thanks to the vinegar!) and irritable colon (also getting better the more I do SR). However, for years now every time I blow my nose or sneeze I get pain in my lower abdomen, in the center right above my pubic bone. I have a sensation I can't describe when I get aroused, something like a feeling of nausea but not quite. I also have a constant pressure in that same area, and intercourse (and any other sexual activity since arousal makes me "nauseous") is no more because it is painful. I have been tested for STD's, which is pretty much out of the question since I have only been with one other person than the one I'm with now, and we always used protection and he was also tested. One Dr. said I possibly had vaginal warts, the following two have made no mention of it. What's going on here? Do you have any idea what this could be and if my SR will take care of it? Thank you very much. You are very appreciated in my household!

Hi, Jenny.

Thanks for you kind words.

Although candida does cause this---especially the systemic symptoms associated with this---the smoking gun is called "pelvic congestion syndrome". This well known syndrome causes a greatly increased incidence of painful intercourse, IC, dysmenorrhea, irregular periods, PID, hemorrhoids, ovarian cysts, even infertility (the list is pretty long).

Anyhow, the same thing that causes this is the most common cause of LGS & the complication of C-RS (bracing). SO, you can see that they fit together.

Anyhow, the exact same recomendations for people with IC (see the archives)----you can get testimonials from people on the BB who have done it-- will go a long way toward resolving this "congestion".

Another, and perhaps even quicker way to get relief is to make sure that you have at least one orgasm every day.
People with this condition typically do not have orgasms.

The "Female Patient" is a well known medical journal. About 30 years ago, there was a wonderful article about this (with color pictures) in that journal. Why it is not general knowledge by conventional medical practitioners is beyond me!

In the long run, the SR is the simgle most important thing that will resolve this. The single most important thing in the short run is the orgasms.

Walt

Well, gee, tough treatment you've outlined! ;). One more question...um, not to get too graphic here, but I have a happy life and at one time was experiencing orgasms practically every day--but the "nausea" I spoke of got so annoying and tiresome that my sex life pretty much came to an end. Is this one of those "The only way around it is through it" deals? Because I can't stand that feeling and can't seem to alieviate it when climaxing. You are the best--I always know my family and friends can count on you. Thank you for your wonderful service--always remember, what goes around comes around! You are scoring some major points!!!

Thanks, Jenny, for your kind words.

The frequent orgasm is not the only way to resolve this; it is just a pretty quick way to get relief. Also, for this part, the only way I know of to implement this particular part to do is: "The only way around it is through it."

In the long run, eliminating the "bracing" is more important but not so quick.

I would be very surprised if an exploratory operation would not find extensive endometriosis. However, if it were me, I would at least do the things, first, that would resolve it before going to extensive surgery. A good reason is that, without doing those things that would eliminate the problem, the likelyhood is that it would just recur after surgery.

Hope all this helps get you started.

Walt

With all the symptoms the first person discribed I suggest
this site http://thyroid.miningco.com to see if
hypothyroidism isn't being missed.

The other therapy sounds like a lot of fun, too. Especially when you can get to the point of enjoying it.

I hope you are in a good relationship as well, as that can play havoc on your body in general if it isn't.

Ann
