hi there ,
today i feel down due to my urethritis(or i.c)so i read about testimonial on i.c to cheer me up and believe ,i too ,can do it .I have had a year relapse today and i feel down.spend my money on therapists, worry about it etc....
i continue homeopathy and i know that will help.
i do my s.r every day twice ,except weekends when i have not been as consistent (only once).of course i worry alot about work, my relationship and childhood issues which make things worse .so i need encouragements at times .
if anyone reads this and has great testimonials on i.c please post it for all of us to read them when we feel blue.
there was a post fron Vickie ,an i.c ex -patient in 199 and i wonder if she is still around and how she is doing .apparently ,she was doing great in 1999 after years and years of ic and other things.
SO Vickie,if you read this post can you tell me how you are ,and Dr Stoll, please tell us if you ve heard from her as well .She was so encouraging about i.c and s.r.
Also Dr Stoll, i have done s.r for 6 months ,still struggling ,less but still(pressure in urehtra).i listen to a c.d as i do s.r (that brings you to alpha).i still have the monkey mind but try not to let it get to me .
so ,Dr Stoll ,do you have alot of i.c patients who still struggle after 6 months ???is this common ??i really want to get to the bottom of this and i need to know and reassured that my s.r helps .
sorry to be in this mood today but writing a post helps.
i promise to always keep in touch as i heal so other can be helped in the future as well.
namaste,
i am off to yoga tonite ,i know it helps too.

Hi, Georgia.
IC is particularly hard because the person has to change their entire paradigm of the world to finally resolve it. You have a good start: "less but still" progress.
It might give you reassurance to get your SR rechecked with biofeedback to be sure we can still predict eventual total resolution.
MY clinical experience is that IC patients have enough progress by 6 months that they will continue SR to the resolution even if it takes 2 years. A diary is very helpful.
Namaste`
