Doc Stoll, if you were me...what would you do...

Posted by Elizabeth on July 15, 2001 at 17:01:24:

Hey Doc,

I'm Elizabeth, who has healed/relaxed her urinary urgency through all the good stuff I posted about last month.

Here's my question: As I continue to have a daily discharge (which is occasionally irritating, itchy maybe 2 days a month, but generally non-irritating), I am left to either:
1. accept it, 2. try something self-treaty or 3. go to doctor number SEVEN and get a test done.

Even at its itchiest (ouch!) this discharge has been tested as normal, negative, not yeast, not bacteria, normal healthy composition. So I just don't get it,

unless it's all the residual effects of urethra/bladder having been stressed for nearly two years.

If you were me what would you do?

Love & Blessings,
Elizabeth

Hi, Elizabeth.

How are these symptoms compared with a year ago--2 years ago?

Have you kept a diary of progress?

Walt

Doc,

It's been gradually lessening. The onset of the discharge coincided with the bladder urgency and discomfort, which turned into urethral "only," what remains is the discharge, occasionally irritating. In the last week it has been diminishing, but it's never TOTALLY gone.

I have no symptoms of the urethral syndrome at all. I am completely better, and can even drink coffee 1 or 2 times per week with no related urgency...

Thanks
E.

Have you tried natural remedies yet ???or Homeopathy.I am dealing with urethral burning and pressure(a varient of ic)and homeopathy has helped me alot in the past .I relapsed due to stress for sure, and i am doing s.r plus continue homeopathy as well.I know it helps and if you tell me where you live i can send you or email you a directory of classical homeopaths(just a suggestion ).I am sure you will get better since you are on the road to recovery already.
I did not see the email you posted a month ago on how you got better .could you tell me or email me direct if you do not mind ,since i like to read"success stories"to give myself a boost when i am down.what were you told you ahd by doctors???did you have any burning ,pressure in the uretha or bladder???

Hello Georgia,

I found it, it's way down on 6/11/01, and the thread begins with the title post "Doc Stoll in case you missed my post."

I'm not very link-savy so that's the best I can do.

Hope that helps!
E.

P.S. You know, I drank coffee today and it *did* bother my urethra even now, after all this improvement. I think it's best to stick with the herbal teas, for me anyway. Cheers, and good luck in your healing...

Thanks, Elizabeth.

It is apparent that you can project your progress forward in time to when it will be totally gone.

I would, however, be pretty careful "testing the system" for a couple of years after you are asymptomatic. An example is the "coffee test".

Namaste`

Walt
