Vaccinations??

I am really interested in the new discovery about vaccinnations. I don't really understand it, about how they are not good for us, and give us diseases. If anyone has anyone information on this, I would like to know. My kids are 8 and 5, so they have had their shots long ago. Are you saying this could harm them? Thanks for the info.

Coast to Coast had a woman on last night, maybe a Dr, who was talking about vaccines. Her website is "novacine.com". Might be 2 c's. I can't spell.)

I didn't hear that much of the show, but may have some info you can use.

a good site for vaccine info is www.909shot.com
you might also want to read 'Mothering' magazine- they often have articles about vaccines.
New Atlantean Books in Santa Fe, NM has the biggest selection of books about vaccines.
Vaccines often contain thimerisol. It's a mercury derivative. Mercury is poison. Vaccines contain preservatives such as formaldahyde, which is carcinogenic (cancer causing). Vaccines are grown inside parts of various animals (which is why people allergic to eggs or chickens are told to avoid the flu shot). Other vaccines comne from other animals- polio vaccine used monkey kidneys at a time most of us didn't know about retroviruses. SIV in monkeys is similar to HIV in humans.
But, a more basic question is, 'what is the purpose of disease?"
Recently, the CDC has said people should let their kids play in the dirt and that kids raised with at least 2 dogs in the first year of life are less likely to have allergies in general. This is because exposure builds immunity. Exposure to natural diseases build immunity, too.
Is the current epidemic of cancer, diabetes, and various auto-immune diseases due to the fact we baby boomers and younger didn't build our immune systems, or is it due to the fact that some of our weakest people used to die of childhood diseases before they could reproduce? No one really knows, but Nature is a system that works (albeit causing us pain, at times) and there's a lot to be said for not treating modern medicine as the new god.
These are good issues to learn about, because you'll still have decisions to make about flu and pneumonia shots; you may have to decide someday about smallpox vaccines, and there are more vaccines being developed all the time.

Hi, Sally.

This is not a new discovery. See the pros and cons alluded to in the immunization archives.
